 Directions to Port Townsend from Seattle

Take the Seattle to Bainbridge Is. ferry for shortest route.  See the WA state Ferry Schedule for times.  At arrival on Bainbridge Is., stay on main road, Hwy 305, which will continue northwestward until intersecting Hwy 3.  Take Hwy 3 (right) following signs to Hood Canal Bridge.  Upon crossing bridge, you are now on Hwy 104, heading westerly.  Take Hwy 19, right, and continue following signs to Pt. Townsend. (Hwy 19 will intersect Hwy 20. Go right at this point).  Allow at least 1 1/2 hours on a busy summer day, in addition to ferry time.
