Bars	Strathspey Description
1 - 2	Reel of four chain: progress one place in reel of four on sides as followes: 1^st and 3^rd women cast off 1 place, 2^nd and 4^th men cast up one place, while 1^st man with 2^nd woman and 3^rd man with 4^th woman turn right hands ľ and finish on own sides up or down one place.
3 - 4	Progress to next place in the reel: 1^st and 4^th women and 1^st and 4^th men change places with left hands, while 2^nd couple set facing down and 3^rd couple sets facing up.
5 - 16	Repeat bars 1 – 4 from new position to original places. Omit casting up or down after setting, and dance directly up or down.
	Reel Description
1 - 8	Ist woman casts off one place, crosses between 3^rd and 4^th men, casts off behing 4^th man, crosses below 4^th couple and dances up behind 4^th and 3^rd women to second place, ready for a poussette. Ist man follows her to below 4^th man, then dances up the middle to second place ready for a poussette. 2^nd couple steps up on bars 3-4.
9 - 16	1^st, 3^rd and 4^th couples dance a poussette, 1^st couple ending in 4^th place.
	Repeat with a new top couple.
