Ft. Worden Weekends of Past Years

We have had many memorable Ft. Worden Weekends that  we would like to share with pictures of past parties, classes and our gala Ball evening.  We hope you enjoy them and that they will bring back great memories.

Traditionally Ft. Worden has enjoyed a Ceilidh Dance on Friday evening, after folks have arrived, registered and settled into their lodgings for the weekend.  The  Ceilidh evening is usually followed by or interspersed with great  talent by our weekend participants.  Saturday begins with classes,  optional gatherings to prepare for the Saturday evening ball, the evening Ball commencing with a "Grand March" and danced to superb music by the year's musicians, smaller after-parties where many gather to continue their music enjoyment, and then on Sunday, all re-gather  at the USO Hall for shared sessions to "show" all the class techniques learned.  It is a very rewarding weekend of renewed passions for Scottish Country Dancing and is a grand way to start off the Fall season of classes within the communities.   Enjoy.
