Flame Lily

'Flame Lily' was devised by Seattle Branch RSCDS teacher Catherine B. Crawford from Mercer Island, Seattle, in memory of her mother, Janet Thompson, in 1984.  She was assisted by Ray Sampson, also of the Seattle RSCDS Branch.  It is a Strathspey danced in a square set.

The Compleat Gardener

This dance was devised by Irene Paterson, July 2006, to celebrate David Vandegrift’s retirement from a long and successful teaching career.  It is an 8x32 jig for 3 couples.

The RossKay Strathspey

Irene Paterson devised this dance in April 2005 for Ross and Kay Morrison on a suggestion by Gordon Hutchinson in recognition of all the willing help given by this generous couple to the Seattle Branch of RSCDS. (Revised by I. Paterson Feb 2009)  It is a 3x32 strathspey for 3 couples.
