Dancing in Greater Seattle:  Spring 2013

Challenge Class is on the 2nd Friday each month, at the  Phinney Neighborhood Center, 6532 Phinney Ave. N., Seattle, room 7 (large room) on upper floor of upper building. Time is 7:30 - 9:30 PM.     This class is for dancers who have danced regularly for several years, dance well with the music, and know the basic formations and are introduced to more advanced formations.  Goals are to improve teamwork, general technique and  individual standard of dancing, and to have fun with folks.
This season classes run through May 10, 2013.    Cost per class is $7 for RSCDS members and $9 for non-members.

 

 Lake Forest Park  classes.  The Eastside class continues on Tuesdays at  Lake Forest Park, beginning Jan. 8, lower mall at the Northwest Ballet Center ( 17171 Bothell Way NE, Lake Forest Park)  from 7:30 - 9:30 PM.  This will be a 'social class' and all are welcome. There are food spots there if you come early or afterwards. The floor is lovely - wood sprung for our dancing feet, located between Third Place Books and the remodeled King County library.   Contact Elinor V. if you have further questions.  (Directions to the 'Towne Center' off of SR 522 - 17171 Bothell Way NE, very close to 3rd Place Books and Ross) .  These classes will continue into May 2013.

 

University Heights Classes.   Spring  Qtr. 2013 on  Tuesdays.  April 16 - June 4.  Rm. 108

Mukilteo Classes continue on Wednesday evenings. Led by Irene P.  Please contact her for information on the time and place. All levels welcome.  Contact  the Branch secretary for her email secretary@rscds-seattle.org if you do not know Irene.
 

Redmond Class gathers on  Sundays,  from 6:30 - 8:30 PM  at  the Dance Works Studio, Redmond, WA., 16641 Redmond Way, Redmond, WA 98052.  Contact Lea M  if you need further info.  New dancers are most welcome as well as on-going dancers.  Pricing is as follows:  $70 member/$80 non-member for full registration, $40 member/$45 non-member for half registration, and $7 member/$9 non-member for one class. Class meets every week, except for Easter Sunday March 31.

Sunday Step Dancing- 2012.     Step dance classes are currently not happening .   Contact Elizabeth by requesting her email from the branch secretary at  secretary@rscds-seattle.org

 

Wenatchee Classes led by Lesley A. meets on Thursdays from 6:30 - 8:30 PM at the Wenatchee Irish Dance Studio, 151 Worthen St., Wenatchee through July  2013.    Give Lesley a call if you need more info (509.663.3743)  or join in their class when you are over there.

Kitsap area - Silverdale, WA.   Classes met on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of each month in 2012.  Dennis taught  this class.   Contact: poulsboinfo@rscds-seattle.org for a new schedule for fall.
