The Seattle Branch Calendar year begins on July 1 for membership.  If you complete your membership form and submit it, you will get the reduced member rate for the summer class.  See Membership page for a form with prices.

Dancing in Greater Seattle: Winter - Spring 2015

Redmond Class will meet on Sundays, located at the DanceWorks Studio, 16641 Redmond Way, Redmond, WA  classes will be from 6-8 PM, taught by Lea Maiolo.  Classes will be every Sunday unless specified otherwise in the Calendar. Contact Lea M  if you need further info.  New dancers are most welcome as well as on-going dancers.  Full session: $85 branch member/$100 non-branch member /  Half session: $45 branch member/$55 non-branch member  Per Class: $8 branch member/$10 non-branch member.
Spring Qtr dancing starts in May.

U-District at the University Heights Building will meet on Tuesdays    from   8:00 - 9:55 PM.  U-Heights Center is at 5031 University Way NE, Seattle, classroom 108.  Teachers is Rachel Pusey.   The first half hour or so will emphasize technique fundamentals.  Session rate:  $81. / $63. branch members.  This is for all levels of dancers.  You can pay by check (preferred) payable to 'RSCDS Seattle'.  You can reach Rachel if you need to. 
Winter Qtr. schedule:  Jan. 13 - Mar. 10
Spring Qtr. schedule:  Apr 7  - Jun. 2

Lake Forest Park Scottish Dance Classes meet on Wednesdays  from 7:15 - 9:30 PM  at the Northwest Ballet Studio on the lower level of Lake Forest Park Towne Center, 17171 Bothell Way NE, WA.   This is for all levels of dancers.    Main teacher is Elinor Vandegrift.  Rate for classes: members  $7 per session/ non-members $9 paying for 6 or 12 week pkgs,  or if paid weekly as you go, members $8 per session/ non-members $10 per session.  Basic steps and formations emphasized from 7:15 - 8:00 and general class after that.
Winter Qtr. schedule:  Classes resume Jan. 7
for 6 weeks (2/11).  Session 2 begins 2/18 through 3/25.  Spring session runs 4/8 through 5/13.

Wenatchee Scottish Dance Classes will be on Thursdays
at the Irish Dance Studio, 151 Worthen St.,Wenatchee from 6:30 - 8:30 PM.  Lesley Allan is the teacher.  Give Lesley a call if you need more info (509.663.3743)  or to join in their class  if you are over there.
Winter Qtr. schedule:  Classes meet every week unless specified not in Calendar.

Challenge Class at the Phinney Neighborhood Center  will be adjusted this Fall, so visit here again for new information.

Mukilteo Wednesday Evening Class will continue if there are enough people interested. Irene Paterson is the teacher.  Contact her if you are interested.  (425.438.8977)  or email her.  Irene will need to provide you with class location.

  • Tacoma - Classes. Held at Normanna Hall, 1106 S 15th St.,Tacoma.   Basic steps, no partner required.  Led by Meg Henderson. Time is 4-6 PM  for general class.

Monthly Dances & Special Events Fees

Monthly Dances with recorded music fee: members $10.00 / non-members $15.00 (student with Id $5./$10.)

Monthly Dances with live music fee: members  $15.00  / non-members $20.00 (student with Id $10./$15.)

Special Event Dances with live music have unique charges.  Contact the Branch Chairman (See Contacts page) if you will to get further information, or ask the teacher at the class you are at.  Any unique charges are posted with the event in the Dance Calendar.
