Dec. 1, 8,
15 (Sun.) - Classes continue in
the DanceWorks Studio,
Way, Redmond, WA. Classes are from 6:30 - 8:30 PM.

Experienced dancers are encouraged to attend the entire class.
(Please note that registration through Experimental College is no
Dec. 3 (Tues.)
- University District Class starts, at University Heights Center.
8:00 - 9:50 PM (See Classes for details on where, etc.)
The first half hour or so will emphasize technique fundamentals.
Beginners should plan to attend from 8-9 PM initially, but will be
welcome to stay later as their knowledge of steps and figures
from 7:15 -
9:30 PM. Last class for fall
quarter is Dec. 4. This class will have an extra session
on the 11th to prepare for the Ceilidh.
Dec. 4 (Wed.) - Lake Forest Park classes continue
at Lake Forest Park
Northwest Ballet Studio on the lower level, 17171 Bothell Way NE,
Lake Forest Park Towne Center, WA. This is for all levels of

Mukilteo community has a Wednesday evening
class with Irene Paterson. Call her if you are interested.

Dec. 5, 12, 19 (Thurs.) - Wenatchee
classes continue at the Irish Dance Studio,

Dec. 8 (Sun.) - Gleneagles Ball, at the
Vancouver Hotel with the Vancouver Fiddle Orchestra at 1:30 PM. Done

13 (Fri.) - Challenge Class will
Dec. 11 (Wed.) - There will be a review class at Lake
Forest Park for the Ceilidh on the 14th. If you
are going to come, let Elinor
know. This is an extra class at that location, so let Elinor
know you are coming. $8 for members and dancers
new this season; $10 for non-RSCDS members.
Dec. 14 (Sat.) - RSCDS Seattle Branch Christmas
Ceilidh at the Mercer Island Congregational Church at 7:30
PM., at 4545 Island Crest Way, Mercer Island. Music
will be provided by Guinevere Saenger and Brandon Vance. Celebrate
the holiday season with our Scottish tradition. Cues for
the evening's dance are
Members $15/ Non-members $20.
We will have a silent auction at the ceilidh, that includes your
tag slip with a minimum auction amount added to start off the silent
bids. The proceeds
raised from this will go to the Dub Fortenberry scholarship
fund and toward the May AGM. You can print a copy of the
attached form and fill out the slips for an article you might
bring for the Ceilidh table before hand. Please bring a snack for
the evening intermission as well.

Jan. 17 (Fri.) - Lake
Forest Park Scottish Country Dance demo has been cancelled.
Jan. 25 (Sat.) - Annual Robert Burns Scottish
Celebration with RSCDS-Seattle Branch. Calum's Ceilidh Band
will provide our music, along with special toasts to Robert
Burns, a taste of haggis, neeps, and tatties, and many Scottish
amusements. Join us both dancers and friends. This
evening will be held at the Mercer Island Congregational
Church, at 4545 Island Crest Way, Mercer Island, WA., beginning at
7:00 PM. Members $15 /Non-members $20.

Mar. 8 (Sat.) - Portland Branch 35th RSCDS Workshop &
Ball, please save the date.
This event is held in Lake Oswego, Oregon. You can read all

shown there. Musicians are Etienne Ozorack and
Fred Mamula of the Music Makars, and Lisa Scott of Portland. Our
teacher, Irene Paterson will be there as well as David Newitt. They
have also suggestions for places to stay and provide their dance
Mar. 29 (Sat.) - Van Isle Dance & Workshop,
Celebrating 40 Years, Victoria, BC, hosted by the Vancouver
Island Scottish Country Dance Society. Musicians: The Tartan
Players. Guest Teacher: Mary Murray. See their
June 28 (Sat.) - Puget Sound Crossroads at the Grange
Hall in Friday Harbor, WA.
This is our Annual event with dance folks from all
over Puget Sound and North coming together for a day of
greeting, dancing, ferrying through the San Juan Islands or
from across the strait. It is a joint venture
with the Friday Harbor Dancers and RSCDS-Seattle
Branch. Music by Calum's Ceilidh Band (Calum
MacKinnon) with favorite dances from our local groups put together
made for a great event.

Sept. 12-14(Fri.-Sun) - Seattle Branch's
Ft. Worden 40th Workshop Weekend. Go to
